Why You Should Use FilterFab F-Series Natural Gas Filters

Three styles of access closures are available – a quick-opening swing bolt lid on 285 psi housings, a blind flange on all housings, and a thread-on hammer union lid on most housings. Heavy lids are equipped with a lifting davit.

Water, oil, and dirt in natural gas lines at wellheads, upstream of compressors, downstream of compressor aftercoolers, and at compressor fuel gas connections can do great damage. FilterFab's C-Series coalescing filters use a proprietary reverse-flow, radially-finned, high surface area filter cartridge unlike those used by any of our competitors. These cartridges are built with layers of borosilicate fiberglass sandwiched into layers of felted polyester media to remove 99.9% of all liquid droplets, fogs, and mists, plus all particulate matter down to 0.3-microns in size. This design is so efficient and has such a large surface area, that our housings use only one or two cartridges. Our competitors, however, may use multiples of ten or more. Therefore, changeouts are quicker and much less expensive.
Why You Should Use FilterFab C-Series Natural Gas Filters
FilterFab C-Series cartridges create a gas flow pattern that fuse the microscopic droplets together as they pass through the fine pores of the specially designed borosilicate fiberglass media layers. This action forms droplets too large to be carried further downstream, so the liquid drips from the cartridge into a holding sump, from where it can be drained manually or automatically.
