FilterFab Celebrates 40 Years of Natural Gas Filtration
From a backyard garage to four decades in business, thank you to the people who have been part of the journey.
In September 1986, FilterFab Manufacturing began in a garage in the backyard of our founder’s home.
Forty years later, we’re celebrating the business that grew from that beginning and the people who helped make it possible. To our customers, employees, sales representatives, suppliers, and friends: thank you for being part of FilterFab.
A backyard beginning
Our original location wasn’t a sprawling manufacturing facility. It was the garage pictured here, tucked behind a family home. Now, we're located in a 24,000 sq ft facility.
What these photographs cannot show is all the work, decisions, and relationships that make up our company's history. This anniversary is an opportunity to recognize that work and the people behind it.
Built around the application
Today, FilterFab designs and manufactures natural gas filtration equipment in Industry, PA. Our product lines include F-Series dry gas filters for particulate removal and C-Series coalescing filter separators for removing liquid droplets and fine particulates.
We offer standard configurations and custom-built units, with technical support to help customers identify the right filter for their application. Whether the requirement calls for a standard design or a different configuration, our focus is on understanding the customer’s needs and helping find an appropriate solution.
The people behind the milestone
A manufacturing business is much more than its buildings and equipment. It is the people who bring their skills to the shop, put their confidence in a supplier, introduce a product to a customer, and help a project move forward.

Looking ahead
As we enter our next decade, we’re looking beyond the milestone toward new markets, new partnerships, and new opportunities to put FilterFab’s experience to work. Our goal is to bring our filtration solutions to more customers and applications while strengthening the relationships that have brought us this far.
Growth also means continuing to learn and adapt. We’re exploring how evolving technologies, improved processes, and better digital tools can strengthen the way we work, from making technical information more accessible to improving coordination and customer support.
As we move forward, our commitments remain the same: practical engineering, American manufacturing, and personal service. We’re proud of where FilterFab began and focused on building a business our customers, representatives, and partners can count on for years to come.
